Went to Sunday School. Marjorie and Ned stayed in the nursery fine and I enjoyed being in Mrs. Smith’s class again. She spoke about how sweet we all looked Thursday eve and I told her how it wore me out. She said she had been there, too.

Was everyone's life as difficult as Mother's seemed to be? I can't imagine how she held up all those years. As far as I know she never complained to her kids, nor did she share many of her thoughts with us either. (Believe me, my family knows what I'm thinking). Is that good or bad?
