Warm - springlike
Ironed all day when I wasn’t out chasing Marjorie. I put her on the porch to play and she decided to see the world, so I put on my coat, let her go where she wanted to and went with her. She wore herself out walking, called on Mrs. Complin and then took a long nap.
(According to Aunt Marjorie, Mrs. Complin lived across the street.
There can indeed be some nice days in February.)

Did I read right? Mother was ironing all day & she put Marjorie on the porch? What 18 mo. old would stay still in one place?
