Friday, Feburary 12, 1926

Grandma starts up writing in her diary again tomorrow, I promise!

In the meantime, this is the one year anniversary of this blog. For those who have read from the beginning, you've come through a whole year one day at a time. Thanks for staying with this. We'll continue until the diary entries run out... two more years!

  1. Last year Ruth's boys were out of school for Lincoln's birthday - so I'll bet they were home on this Feb 12, too.
When my kids were young they had a day off for Lincoln's birthday, while Washington's Birthday was a holiday for my husband. I wonder if all schools have switched to Presidents' Day by now.

  3. Our schools get two Mondays off in February, one for Lincoln's b'day and then President's Day the following Monday. Looks like Indianpolis schools took the actual holidays back in the 20s.
