Cooler

Washed and ironed what I would have to have before Sunday.

(Grandma seemed to be always washing clothes and ironing them.)

  1. What is wrong with us today? We have no ironing to do, the wash would do itself if we would just load the washer, push the buttons, and remember to put it in the dryer, yet we still "never have enough time". Crazy.

  2. Why this generation has no time for doing laundery? Television, computers, movie theaters, malls, just to name a few. If we didn't have these 'conveniences' and no car to hop into at a whim, we would probably get our laundry done quicker, our house straightened up more often, & cook more instead of eating out or fast food. Sure we have it better, but is it better for us?

  3. Six years later, after Eleanor's comment, I would say we are even more in trouble with the way we live our lives. I think there is just too much "going." I know people who are always "gong" somewhere. Shopping, traveling, entertainment. They just never seem to stay at home.
